The Africa Asset Finance Platform

Linq Africa originates, structures and services rental and finance for movable assets across Africa. Each programme is placed with external funders through its own special purpose vehicle.

Who we are

Founded in 2014, Linq Africa has always financed movable assets, historically in transport and logistics. Today it is the African operating company of the group's asset finance platform, one leg of a wider real assets platform that includes private equity and credit across other verticals. Its holding company is being moved into the group's international structure, headquartered in the Netherlands.

What we do

OriginateWe work with manufacturers and corporate operators to identify the equipment their customers need and the terms that fit their business.
StructureRental and finance programmes for movable assets, each in a dedicated special purpose vehicle, with security and terms set for its funder.
ImplementWe set up each programme's vehicle, bring in its external funding and put the rental or finance agreements in place. The assets and the funding sit together in the vehicle.
ServiceWe manage each programme for its life: invoicing, collections, asset records and reporting to funders.

How we work

Compliance. We follow our Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and policies on anti-bribery and corruption, sanctions and export controls, third parties, and conflicts of interest. Every counterparty is screened before each transaction. Concerns can be raised with our Compliance Officer at dewald@linq.africa.
